Newport County AFC are excited to announce there is now an opportunity available for supporters to bid on eBay for match-worn shirts from the club’s FA Cup clash against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Exiles faced penalty shootout heartbreak in the third round of the competition against the Premier League outfit after claiming a 96th-minute equaliser to take the game to spot kicks, but County narrowly lost out 4-3.
15 match-worn shirts will be listed on eBay at 9am on Monday, February 1 for 10 days, with bids starting at £100 and all shirts will come with a certificate of authenticity.
All proceeds will be donated to County in the Community, whose mission, through the power of sport, is to provide sporting, educational and physical activity programmes that enrich the lives of people living across Gwent - regardless of age, ethnic origin, economic status or physical ability.
CITC was established in September 2013 when Newport County AFC gained Football League status and became a registered charity in June 2015.
Due to Ebay's regulations, the shirts will be uploaded at different stages.
