Newport County AFC has today released an anniversary shirt celebrating 40 years since our European Cup Winners’ Cup quarter-final against Carl Zeiss Jena.
The shirt pays tribute to the extraordinary run to the last eight of the competition in one of the most exciting periods in the club's history in March 1981, as Len Ashurst's side etched their names into County folklore.
Priced at £45 for adults and £37.50 for juniors, the shirt is available for pre-order from 4pm today via our online store.
The shirts will be dispatched ahead of our Sky Bet League Two fixture against Bradford City and will be available while stocks last.
Newport County AFC will be donating £5 - inclusive within the price of each shirt sold - to former defender Mark O'Brien, who was forced to call time on his playing career last June before undergoing heart surgery.
