Andy's man club

Newport County AFC is delighted to be partnering with Exeter City to support Andy's Man Club and put a spotlight on mental health at Saturday's fixture.

Both clubs are long-term supporters of the organisation and, with recent events that have taken place both in and out of the world of sport, it is a hugely important time to raise awareness of mental health and the support that is available to people.

Players from both teams will be wearing shirts bearing the #ItsOkayToTalk message in their pre-match warm-ups, while Andy's Man Club will feature in Exeter’s matchday programme and on the LED advertising boards around St. James’ Park throughout the game.

Newport County AFC would like to encourage supporters to understand our mental health and how talking openly with children about their feelings can help.

Every Wednesday, we work with charity My Discombobulated Brain to share a weekly calendar containing tips for keeping positive during these uncertain times.

If you or anyone you know would benefit from a call from a Newport County AFC representative, or if you have other ideas of how we can provide support, please contact the club on office@newport-county.co.uk with the person’s name and contact details.

In these difficult times, we need to look after each other and our community. If you feel you can lend a listening ear please use the #ExilesHereToListen hashtag on your social media to let others know you are there for them, whether a County supporter or not.
