Newport County AFC manager Michael Flynn will be able to field five substitutes for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
It comes after a consultation with clubs, and the EFL Board has now agreed to increase the permitted number of substitutes in all Sky Bet EFL fixtures.
The rule will come into play from 12pm on Friday 20th November and will last for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
Flynn will be able to name the usual seven substitutes in his matchday squad for Sky Bet League Two fixtures in the current campaign.
