Newport County AFC are pleased to announce that County in the Community will proudly sit as the front of shirt sponsor for all Newport County AFC children’s replica third kits for the 2020/21 season.
County in the Community (CitC) was established in September 2013 when Newport County AFC regained Football League status.
In June 2015 County in the Community became a registered charity and have been using the power of sport, education and training to engage with all members of the Gwent-wide community - regardless of age, ethnicity, physical ability or economic status. Through the delivery of their various projects they aim to change lives, inspire sport/physical activity participation, improve health/wellbeing and build greater community cohesion.
Newport County AFC General Manager, Nigel Stephenson, said: “The club and I are extremely proud to have the ‘County in the Community’ brand sitting on the children’s third kits for the upcoming season. The work that Norman and all the team at CitC are involved in is making a massive difference in providing opportunities and enhancing lives in and around the city.”
