Newport County AFC are delighted to announce that Robbie Willmott has extended his contract with the Club until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Robbie has made over 150 appearances for the Club in two separate spells, scoring sixteen goals in the process with numerous assists to his name.
A certified 'fans favourite', Robbie was part of the squad that achieved promotion when Justin Edinburgh's squad beat Wrexham in the play-off final back in the 2012/13 season, scoring a memorable last gasp winner away at Hereford earlier on in that campaign.
Following Robbie's first goal of the season against Middlesbrough on Tuesday, the midfielder was delighted to confirm the extension of his stay at Rodney Parade:
"I am very happy to get it all done. I love it here and I think that shows with the number of appearances I have made for the Club.
I am looking forward to playing much more for Newport and with this current very talented squad, hopefully making more memories like we did on Tuesday night."
Manager Michael Flynn spoke to #iFollowExiles shortly after the extension was confirmed:
"It is great news for the club. Robbie has a long-standing affiliation with the club and he is a very talented football player with a lot of quality. I am delighted he has extended his stay with us."
