19-Year-old forward Momodou Touray has impressed during his first month at Welsh Premier League side Barry Town United.
The Gamian-born striker has had a very good showing so far this season getting off to a perfect start when he scored an impressive hat-trick in a pre-season friendly victory over Redditch United.
Since the league began, Modou has earned himself two fan-voted Man of the Match awards (one against Carmarthen Town and another against Llanelli Town AFC) and has scored his first Welsh Premier League goal against Connah's Quay Nomads FC.
Modou joined Barry Town United in order earn some valuable game time and has so far proved himself a very valuable addition.
Barry Town United manager Gavin Chesterfield said: “I’m really pleased with how Modou has settled into the squad and how he has bought into what we ask of our players. His performances so far have been very good and I was delighted for him that he got his debut competitive goal for us on Saturday where he finished off a well worked counter attack. The experiences that Mo is having at the moment are excellent for his development and I can already see parts of his game have improved in his short time with us. For both clubs and Mo’s sake long may his progress continue.”
Overall a great start for the youngster. You can follow Barry Town United's progress on Twitter.
