Tonight we welcome League Two Newcomers, Macclesfield Town, to Rodney Parade. Macclesfield were promoted back to the Football League in the 2017/18 season following a six-year absence but it hasn’t been the smoothest of starts for the Silkmen.
With our opponents yet to register their first League Win, manager Michael Flynn has warned that “Macclesfield will be hurting, they’ll be hungry to end their winless run”. County must be at their best to get the points they want this evening.
The last time the two sides met was April 2013, Robbie Willmott scored two in a 4-1 home victory for the Exiles which saw them come from behind to secure three points.
Find out more about the visitors in our preview.
But away from the football, what's going on at Rodney Parade?
