what's on northampton town

This evening we welcome Sky Bet League Two Newcomers, Northampton Town, to Rodney Parade. The Cobblers found themselves relegated from League One last season and didn’t have the easiest of starts to the 2018/19 campaign. However, with a new manager, came a new lease of life and Keith Curle’s record since joining the Club has been impressive.

As a result, Northampton Town are one of the League’s in-form teams and County will need another performance like the one against Colchester United to earn three points.

But away from the football, what's going on at Rodney Parade?

Rainbow Laces

Newport County AFC has joined with the other 71 Clubs across the EFL to highlight our continued support for our LGBT+ Community.

We have joined with Rainbow Newport and BBC Wales reporter Beth Fisher to talk about the challenges facing LGBT+ sports men and women and also reiterate the message that there is no place for homophobia in Football.

Rainbow Newport’s Adam Smith will be answering a Q&A in the marquee before the match and Beth Fisher will be talking questions in hospitality.

Club Shop and Ticket Office

The Kingsway Club Shop opened at 9.30am and will remain open for all your merchandise and ticket requirements until 4.00pm.

The Rodney Parade Ticket Office will open at 5pm and will be open until kick-off.

You can save yourself money by purchasing your Tickets Online in advance.  Tickets will no longer be available online after 5pm.

As part of our #RainbowLaces celebration, Adam Smith from Rainbow Newport and Pride Cymru will also be talking about the importance of the Rainbow Laces Campaign.

The Pop-Up shop will also be appearing in the marquee for all your match-day merchandise.
