The thumb-twiddling Saturdays are almost over! We are just THREE weeks from the 2018/19 EFL Fixture Release Day and just over five weeks from the start of pre-season.
As I’m sure many of you will have noticed, our 2018/19 Volunteer Meeting clashes with a pre-season friendly vs Penybont FC. As a result, we have now changed the date of the Volunteer Meeting. The 2018/19 Volunteer induction, welcome and registration day will now take place on 17th July 2018.
New Volunteer Meeting Details:
Date: 17th July 2018
Time: 6pm-7pm
Location: Castle Room, Newport Centre.
The purpose of the meeting will be to review current Match Day Volunteer roles and provide an update on any match day operational changes for the new season.
You, as volunteers, have played a big part in the Club making real progress over the last 12 months. During the 2017/18 Season, Newport County AFC achieved recognition as the friendliest, most engaging Club in the EFL. We also received EFL recognition as a Family Friendly Club and League recognition for our Away Supporters Experience.
2018/19 is very much about our continuing journey as a club and bettering last Season’s achievements both on and off the field.
