College Programme Students excel as the Year 13 students one of the highest sets of results in the history of the course.
Over the past 18 months, our current Year 13 students have worked extremely hard and applied themselves exceptionally well towards the academic side of the County in the Community College Programme. Each of the students are studying a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sports Performance & Excellence in which the grades achieved are one the highest sets of results in the history of the course.
An outstanding numbers of students have gained University places, American scholarships, are entering full-time employment or are begining further vocational qualifications.
Students are on the way to Cardiff Met, Swansea, Exeter, Northampton, University of South Wales, and Gloucester to study a variety of subjects whilst some have been offered scholarships in the USA in Georgia and Missouri.
To celebrate the fantastic achievements of this year’s cohort, the group enjoyed a meal at Viva Brazil in Cardiff. [Picture above]
We would like to wish the students all the very best for their chosen career pathways.
