Newport County held a dinner night for sponsors of the club and players. Hosted by The Foresters Pub.
Newport County AFC said thank you to its sponsors and commercial partners with a special dinner last night.
Hosted by The Foresters restaurant in Llandevaud, the event gave County’s sponsors the opportunity to meet the first-team squad and management team. The Club’s staff and directors were also in attendance.
Manager Michael Flynn shared his thoughts on the new season with guests, who also watched a video highlighting how the team uses drills and tactics from the training ground during matches.
Flynn was also the subject of a quickfire quiz about his own career, with each wrong answer from the manager provoking laughter from sponsors and players alike.
Sponsors were given the exclusive news that Welsh international Andrew Crofts had been appointed club captain, and he spoke to the audience about his career, his recent move to County and his hopes for the new season.
The evening raised additional funds for the Club via a series of additional sponsorship and commercial opportunities. Newport County AFC would like to thank The Foresters for their hospitality and professionalism.
