We start with the awards from the Newport County AFC Supporters Club....

The Supporter of the Year awards as chosen from the Newport County AFC Supporters Club is Tony Davies

The Young Supporter of the Year award as chosen by the Newport County AFC Supporters Club is Rhys Young

The away player of the year as voted for by the Newport County AFC Supporters Club is..... Joe Day !

The player of the year award as voted for by the Newport County AFC Supporters Club is... Ben White ! 

 

Many Congratulations Ben - thank you for all of your effort this season and best of luck with your future endeavours.

We now move on to the DSA awards...

The DSA Player of the Year is.... Dan Butler !

We now move on to the Community Awards...

The David Williams Community Player of the Year is again... Dan Butler !

 

Dan has been the club's mental health ambassador since his arrival with the club and has been heavily involved in the 'We Wear The Same Shirt' programme.

We now move on to the Newport County AFC awards...

First, we have your Reg Taylor Fair Play Award winner... Padraig Amond !

Next, we have your Derrick Williams Memorial Trophy Goal of the Season... it's Mickey Demetriou's effort against Stevenage in the 3-3 draw to open the 2017/18 campaign. 

 

What a hit! 30 yards! In like a rocket!

We now have the Tom Gardener Trophy for the Club's top goalscorer... 

 

The winner with 14 goals is... Padraig Amond. 

Some memorable moments in there too... the header vs Tottenham Hotspur, the looping header vs Cheltenham and the stunning volley against Swindon Town

Hopefully many more to come in the final two games of the season... and beyond!

Next is the Reg Parson's Trophy for Most Appearances... 

 

The ever present and dependable winner is... Joe Day.

We now move onto the Doc Heffernan Shield for Young Player of the Year. 

 

The winner is... Ben White! 

 

Quote from Mike Flynn: "Definitely the best loan signing we have ever had at this football club."

The next award we move on to is the Brian's Tom's President's Cup for Player's Player of the Year... 

 

The winner is once again.. Ben White! 

 

What an unbelieveable season for the 20-year old. The first EFL goal of his career vs Barnet in November, registering 50 appearances for the club (to date) and a new contract with Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion to boot.  

Many, Many Congratulations Ben - Best of luck for the rest of your career.

We finish the Newport County AFC awards for the 2017/18 season with the biggest award of the night... the Patron's Cup for Newport County AFC Player of the Year. 

 

A well deserved winner... it's Dan Butler. 

 

It follows his Argus Player of the Year award last season and comes following another dependable season for the Exiles. 

He may get his 100th appearance with the club against Carlisle United next weekend and the award comes after over 500 supporters voted for the award. 

Same again next campaign Dan !
