EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW – Ben Tozer

Ben Tozer talks to Ben Catton about his football career.  From following in the footsteps of his elder brother to play for Mayflower FC to signing for Newcastle United and training alongside Michael Owen and James Milner.  He talks about putting his injury woes behind him and how the feeling in the dressing room is helping with the team spirit on the pitch.

COUNTY ACADEMY

A GAME OF TWO HALVES

Colin Everett’s popular Game of Two Halves piece, Colin sets out his opinions on the heart-breaking result last Monday which saw the Welsh Team fail to qualify for the World Cup in Russia.

AMBER FROM THE ATTIC

Chris Shingler has a look at a Colchester Match from 48 years ago – County’s biggest win over the U’s a 4-1 victory in 1968.

CLUB NEWS

In this week’s Club News section, we catch up with Club President David Hando after his trip to Buenos Aries for the International Congress of World Transporter Bridges.  This came just days after the players visited Newport’s own Transporter Bridge after training a few weeks ago.  But just what happened that upset all the Bocca Juniors Supporters and staff?

We also look at the revamped Rewards & Benefits Scheme as the players begin to visit all our fantastic sponsors.  It was during one of these trips that Dan Butler “borrowed” our camera “to look at” … when we checked our camera later, we were treated to this photo of Jazzi and Lamar.

JUNIOR EXILES

The Junior Exiles page returns with more games and activities than ever before.  We also introduce our matchday mascots and grill defender Dan Butler with tough questions like: “What’s your favourite drink?” and “What’s your favourite song?”

WELCOME COLCHESTER UNITED

Richard Taylor also takes an in-depth look at our visitors Colchester United including player profiles, previous meetings, Club History, Legends, and social media leading up to the day.
