Our U18 side are in action this Saturday against Cheltenham Town, looking to recover from a 6-2 defeat at Portsmouth last weekend.
We preview Cheltenham’s last five matches, previous fixtures between the two sides and a lowdown on the backroom staff ahead of our vital fixture against Pete Haines’ side.
Previous Fixtures
The last home fixture played against The Robins was August 2016, picking up a draw towards the start of the season – putting County on their way to finishing in the top-half of the Youth Alliance League South.
Our most recent fixture against Cheltenham Town didn’t go to plan; County lost 6-2 away from home. Despite this their next league match was a 3-0 win at home, facing Plymouth Argyle which helped the Young Exiles finish 6th.

Last Five Fixtures
The Robins have picked up mixed results from their last five games, winning one, drawing one and losing three matches.
They picked up points against Portsmouth and Forest Green Rovers, beating Pompey 5-2 and ending up with a 2-2 draw against Forest Green, with both fixtures being home matches.
Losses against Bristol Rovers, Swindon and Plymouth have prevented the Gloucester-based side from climbing the table.
They currently sit 11th in the Youth Alliance League South, bottom of the table after nine games.
