Key Dates for your county diary

Whether you’re looking forward to the first Home game and the roar of the Rodney Parade faithful as they welcome their team back after a football-starved Summer; whether you’re focused on gathering the family for the Boxing Day game; or whether you just can’t wait for the first Away Day, here are some key Dates for Your Exiles Diary.

5th August – First Match vs Stevenage (A)

It’s a familiar foe that faces the Exiles on their first game of the season.  Opening day away matches have been bad news for County in the past having failed to win an opening day Football League away game since the 60’s.

Having already proven themselves record breakers and odds-deniers, Michael Flynn’s men will be looking to put an end to this miserable record.

12th August – Reversed Fixture vs Crewe Alexandra (H)

Whilst the fixtures currently show this as a home fixture vs Crewe Alexandra.  This will be reversed/ or postponed due to the laying of the new pitch at Rodney Parade.

Please keep an eye on our website, social media channels, or sign-up to our newsletter as we will keep you informed of all the changes to the times/ dates.  The Club recommends you do not book travel plans for this game until details have been finalised.

26th August – First Home Match vs Chesterfield

Exiles will be waiting a long time before they can cheer on their team at home but the ground’s new DESSO pitch should be worth the wait.

We're due to kick off at 3pm vs newcomers Chesterfield and we know that Rodney Parade will be rocking.

CHRISTMAS

23rd December – Home vs Lincoln City

Don your Santa Hat, your Christmas Jumper and probably your raincoat (it is Wales after all), we will be playing The newly-promoted Imps at home on the 23rd December.

26th December – Away vs Wycombe Wanderers

It’s a four hour round trip on Boxing Day as we travel to Wycombe for our post-Christmas game.

New Year’s Day – Home vs Exeter City

What better way to bring in the year (and perhaps clear the cobwebs from the night before) with a home fixture vs Exeter City.  Despite being located fairly close together (in the world of football), these two teams fates could not have been more different last season.  Exeter City were just whisker from promotion and County a whisker from relegation but what will next season hold?

28th April – Home vs Cambridge United

Our final game home game of the 2017/18 Season will come against Cambridge United as we look to have Rodney Parade rocking!

5th May – Away vs Carlisle United

The Exiles will finish the 2017/18 Season at last season's play-off semi-finalists Carlisle United.  We don’t think it will reach the horrible lows and dizzying highs of last season’s final game but who knows what the season may bring.

Still chance to get your Season Tickets.
