COUNTY SECURE SIGNING OF MITCHELL ROSE
Newport County AFC are pleased to announce that Mitch Rose has joined the club, subject to international clearance.
The twenty-two year old midfielder played his youth football at Rotherham United before joining Ilkeston in 2014 where he was part of the team 2014/15 team which reached the play-offs. His most recent club was Mansfield Town.
Speaking after the deal had been agreed manager, Graham Westley, said “It is widely known that I want to add to our midfield options and Mitch is an ideal recruit; youthful yet experienced, good footballing quality yet a strong athlete, forward thinking yet defensive competitor. He adds to our options and brings a huge ambition with him here in South Wales.”
