Earlier today, Gavin Foxall, Mike Flynn and Aaron Williams went to Caerwent JFC's training session to help support their 100 Mile MaraFUNrun.
The local Junior football team are hoping to raise the much-needed funds to finally complete their changing rooms at Caerwent Village Hall. Each of the Junior Caerwent teams (from U6s to U13s) will be taking part in the fun run with each individual runner helping to contribute to the 100 Mile target. As well as the MaraFUNrun, Caerwent have been raising money through a variety of fundraising methods. To help support the cause, whilst at the training ground, Gavin Foxall, Mike Flynn, and Aaron Williams donated Newport County Match Tickets, a signed shirt, and a pair of boots signed by John Terry to the Caerwent teams.
The MaraFUNrun takes place on 18th February 2017 with the first set of runners starting at 10.30am.
Everyone at Newport County AFC would like to wish Caerwent JFC the best of luck with their fund raising and in building their new changing rooms!
