Newport County AFC can confirm that Jack Compton will be joining Merthyr Town FC on loan until the end of the season. Merthyr Town compete in the Southern Football League and are currently sitting second, just four points behind league leaders Chippenham Town. Jack will join Merthyr as they bid to win the league and take automatic promotion to the National League. He will be available for Saturday’s game against Slough Town.
