November Goal of the Month

Just days after a game that gave us six goals including two perfectly crafted free-kicks courtesy of Matty Dolan, we thought we'd look back on some of the best goals November had to offer.

We're still yet to reach the dizzy heights of August when two extraordinary goals thanks to Mickey Demetriou (vs Stevenage) and Frank Nouble (vs Colchester) saw us spoilt for choice with Goal of the Month contenders but this month saw us witness some magnificent footwork by Robbie Willmott, build up play by the academy which involved nearly every member of the side, a brilliantly executed corner routine, and a goal which opened an excellent win vs League One opposition.

Here are November's most spectacular goals....

OPTION 1 |  Matty Dolan vs Port Vale (First Team)

Neat footwork from Man of the Match Robbie Willmott set this goal up.  He intercepted brilliantly, danced around the defender and slid the ball into Dolan's path who finished excellently for his first goal in County colours.

OPTION 2| Frank Nouble vs Accrington Stanley. (First Team)

A training ground corner routine executed to perfection - what more needs to be said?

OPTION 3| Owura Edwards vs Plymouth (U18s)

Nearly every player in the U18s team was involved in this goal. Great possession football kept the ball moving until it was eventually crossed into the path of Owura Edwards who couldn't miss.

OPTION 4| Frank Nouble vs Walsall (First Team)

Yes, the shot took a fairly significant deflection but it looked spectacular and it opened the scoring for a brilliant victory over League One Walsall in the Emirates FA Cup!  We couldn't not include this goal in our top goals from November.
