Get to know our new Manager, Graham Westley...
Graham Westley was appointed as the new Manager of the Exiles on Friday lunchtime and below are a few facts to get to know our new Manager;
- During his playing career, Westley played for a number of clubs which include QPR, Barnet, Gillingham, Wycombe Wanderers, Kingstonian, Wealdstone, Farnborough Town, Harlow Town, Enfield, Aylesbury United, Harrow Borough, Tooting & Mitcham United, Molesey and Walton & Hersham.
- Graham began his managerial career with Farnborough Town and he has also had spells in charge at Rushden & Diamonds and Kettering. In total, Westley has managed over 400 games in non-league football.
- During his spell in charge at Farnborough, Graham won the Isthmian League Cup in 2000–01 and the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2001–02, which secured promotion to the Conference National.
- In April 2010, Graham guided Stevenage to the Conference National title, earning the club promotion to the Football League for the first time in their history.
- Graham then led Stevenage to back-to-back promotions to reach League One, with victory over Torquay in the League Two play-off final at Old Trafford. During the 2010/11 season, Stevenage did not lose a single game after they had taken the lead and also recorded a memorable victory over Premier League side Newcastle United in the FA Cup.
- While at Peterborough United, Graham was awarded the accolade of Manager of the Month in Sky Bet League One during the month of October 2015.
