Sunday's Golf Day in aid of Prostate Cancer UK raises over £1,000 for the charity.
The event took place at Tredegar Park Golf Club, and was part of the fundraising efforts by the County in the Community staff for the Football to Amsterdam cycle challenge in June. Manager Warren Feeney and his assistant Andy Todd were part of the thirty-four players that supported the event.
Organiser of the Golf Day, David Lewis said, “Sunday's Charity Golf day in aid of Prostate cancer was a huge success with 34 players taking part in a Stableford competition held at Tredegar Park Golf Club.
“The day itself raised £1,000 for a great cause in which I am extremely thankful to all who took part alongside the various sponsors and donators who kindly invested in the day.
“Also, a big thank you to all the staff at Tredegar Park Golf Club who made the day run so smoothly.”
