All the details you need, ahead of Tuesday's game against Hartlepool.
Looking at the visitors
After a strong first few weeks to the season, Hartlepool United now find themselves down in 22nd place, only one spot above the League 2 relegation zone. With a seven point gap and three games in hand however the Pools have no real cause for concern, especially after their 3-1 victory at the weekend over bottom club Dagenham and Redbridge. Newport will have to be particularly aware of the visitors top goal scorer Billy Paynter who has 12 so far this season with Jake Gray behind him with 6 and Scott Fenwick, who scored the only goal of the game when the two sides met in August, who has five goals to his name for the season.

Last meeting
A goal for Scott Fenwick five minutes after the break was all that separated the two sides when they met in August. The win meant that Hartlepool maintained their 100% start to the season whilst Newport were down in 21st having picked up a single point from their three games of the campaign.
Last time out
A goal each for Darren Jones, Scott Boden and Dean Morgan meant the Exiles comfortably saw off Portsmouth at Fratton Park and maintained their 100% record there. With the victory County have moved up to 18th in the league and with eleven games to go, are 13 points clear of the bottom two.
The Man in charge
Brendan Malone is the referee for this game with his assistants Andrew Bennett and Mark Derrien. The fourth official is John Busby. Malone was in charge for Newport’s 3-2 defeat to Leyton Orient in August at the start of this season and for the 2-0 victory against Stevenage last year when he sent off Aaron O’Connor. Also last season he was the man in the middle when Newport beat Luton by a goal to nil and in the 2013/14 season, the 3-1 Capital One Cup victory over Brighton and Hove Albion, and in April 2014 he was the referee for the 1-1 draw with Burton Albion.
