A late header by Sean Rigg earns the Exiles a point at home against Crewe.
Manager Warren Feeney named the same starting line-up for the third game running, with Jack Compton still missing due to the calf injury picked up against MK Dons.
The visitors fielded Chelsea loanee Alex Kiwomya in their starting line-up and named Danny Hollands on the bench after the midfielder signed for Crewe from Portsmouth on a loan deal on Friday.
The Exiles had an early chance when Jennison Myrie-Williams made a winding run into the area and played a powerful cross that was parried away at the near post by Ben Garratt and unfortunately there was no one on hand to tap home a rebound when the ball was bouncing around the six-yard box.
Shortly after Joe Day was called into action, after a powerful effort from George Cooper was pushed away by the County 'keeper that was directed at a perfect height for Day to save.
On the 16th minute, the visitors took the lead when Alex Kiwomya stole possession down the left from Jordan Green and the Chelsea loanee was able to direct a curling effort from the edge the area that nestled into the top corner.
The goal was followed by two changes for the Exiles, as Jordan Green and Jamie Turley were replaced by Jazzi Barnum-Bobb and Jon Parkin.
On the half-hour mark, County had their best chance of the half when a well placed free-kick from Mark Randall had to be pushed around the post by Ben Garratt.
Just prior to the break, Crewe had a chance to double their lead when a back header by Darren Jones lacked the power to make it to Joe Day and Ryan Lowe was through one-on-one with the 'keeper. Lowe wasn't able to take the ball around Day and the ball was deflected into the path of Dagnall, who dragged a shot wide of the goal from close-range.

Into the second half and the Exiles had an early scare when a shot from James Jones evaded Joe Day and had to be stopped on the line by Dan Butler.
On the turn of the hour, Jennison Myrie-Willaims was tripped on the edge of the area and from the resulting free-kick Mark Randall fired into the wall, with appeals for handball from the County players.
Shortly after County had another chance from a set piece, when a corner from the left was flicked towards goal at pace by Jon Parkin, only for Garratt to tip his close-range effort over the bar.
In the eighty-second minute, a teasing cross from the right by Jazzi Barnum-Bobb was headed home by Sean Rigg to pull the Exiles back level during the closing stages of the games.
The goal spurred the home side on and when Sean Rigg aimed a deep cross towards the far post his delivery was nodded narrowly wide by the leaping Marlon Jackson.
