EASTER SOCCER CAMPS ARE A HUGE SUCCESS

County in the Community Easter Soccer Camps prove to be a big success.

The Easter Soccer Camps organised by County in the Community took place on Monday and Tuesday this week, with an additional multi-sports camp taking place on Wednesday.

The camps catered from children from the ages of three, all the way up to twelve years old, and provided children with a fun way to spend their Easter Holidays.

“During the Easter holidays we had a great turn out at our Soccer and Multi Sports Camps.” said School Sport Coordinator Dan Harvey

“Over the 3 days we had more than 180 boys and girls aged from 3-12 years old attend the sessions at Llanwern High School.”

“The Monday and Tuesday camps saw the youngsters take part in fun football activities and matches, with the Wednesday consisting of a range of different sports.”

“Children were lucky enough to meet some of the Newport County first team players at the end of each day too with Danny Holmes, Dean Morgan, Jean Christophe Ayina and Joe Green coming along during the week to have a look at what was going on. It was a great few days and we hope to see everyone back again in May!”.
