Following an extensive review, and consultation with over 100 season ticket holders, we are pleased to announce the season ticket prices for the 2016 / 2017 season.
The review and consultation, which considered the cost implications of any changes, highlighted a key problem for the club and for the future – we are not attracting enough young fans. As a result we have carried out a number of significant changes to our pricing structure which concentrates on the following areas:
· Streamlining season ticket prices – with a freeze / reduction on adults and seniors (all prices for next season to be based on the early bird prices for this season and available up to the season start)
· Abolishing the Premium Amber prices in the Bisley Stand
· Actively targeting the over 16’s to under 21’s age group to dramatically extend adoption in this key area with a reduction of up to 32%
· Reducing the cost of Under 16’s season tickets by up to 56%
· Reducing the cost of Under 12’s season tickets by up to 45%
· Extending the family area to cover both block A and B to ensure better viewing
· Senior prices to revert back to 60 rather than over 65
By introducing these prices we hope to not only entice new fans but also reward the faithful fans that turn out to support the team every week.
Director Shaun Johnson commented, “ It’s important to recognise the rising cost of football ticket prices. By not increasing ticket prices for next season hopefully we have begun to make tickets more affordable whilst also recognising that this is a key income stream for the club. The active targeting of the next generation of fans, starting with over 60 schools represented at the Notts County game tomorrow, is critical to the success and progression of the club - ensuring football with a future.”
Supporters will have until the end of June to renew their current seats. Match day and hospitality prices will be released in the next couple of weeks.
2016/17 Season Tickets will go on sale from the Ticket Office on Monday 9th May.
