TRUST WEEKLY NEWS - YOUR TRUST YOUR CLUB

The Trust has committed to provide a weekly update.

The intention is to provide weekly news to all members by way of an email. In addition and given we are owners of the club, we will also make sure it features on the club website.

So here we go…

Away Stand

With a bumper crowd expected for Saturday's home game it is pleasing to see the new away stand will get its first outing with nearly a 1000 away tickets sold. As we relayed the Trust have funded the leasing of the stand to the end of the season.

The need to replace the stand in the away area was considered to be a priority for us, due to the potential loss of income we would incur from the Portsmouth game and other future games this season.

In order to ensure we achieved best value we obtained a number of quotations from three specialist companies.

Following quality, cost (including favourable payment terms) and flexibility considerations we selected a company to provide the structure on a lease basis until the end of the season,

The option to lease provides us with flexibility and is also the most cost effective approach – with income over the season far exceeding the outlay.

The previous condemned stand was removed at no cost to the club.

The improvement in these facilities and the additional income it will provide would not have been possible without the direct financial support from fans.

Our thanks to Jason and his team for the excellent work.

Plan

Our 90 day plan will be issued this weekend and this will outline what we are planning to focus on top level over the next few months. Our initial focus is around our submission to the football league and stabilising the financial position.

Shares

We will also be issuing a message Friday following on from the share offer - steps 4 and 5 in our share offer documentation - its the practical things but they are important so please look out for this

Fan Engagement

lisa.savage1@googlemail.comLisa Savage is leading in this area and is keen to get your views and thoughts. She will soon set up a survey that fans can complete. In addition we are always looking for half time entertainment ideas. If you have any for the forthcoming home games or want to get involved please contact Lisa at

Management Changes

We are conscious that members are asking for an update on the previous management parting company with the club. We are not in a position to give an update at the moment but intend to do so as part of our quarterly update (as per our 90 day plan)

Thank you

The support provided has been immense and we are very grateful for this.

As a group of volunteers we are working hard behind the scenes and at times this my not be visible so please bear with us and hopefully this weekly news communication will provide some comfort.
