County in the Community are recruiting for 2015/16 on their new Futsal programme, so if you are a male or female aged 16-17 and currently in years 11 or 12 this is your chance to sign up.The course combines academic and practical studies towards a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (equivalent to three A Levels), which provides a route to University.
Entry requirements are 4 GCSEs or equivalent, at Grade C or above (including Maths and English).
You will represent Newport County AFC in the Football League Trust Futsal League and receive coaching in the game that has helped hone the skills of Ronaldo, Messi & Ronaldinho.
Newport County AFC Futsal team will play in the South Midlands Division and fixtures will take place at both the Birmingham and Swindon Futsal Arenas.
Sky TV cover the league on their Soccer AM show so there is also a good chance of being on TV.
County in the Community are running taster sessions at Llanwern High School- Sports Hall - every Tuesday night - Girls 4pm- 5pm and Boys 5pm-6pm.
