Danny Crow leaves County
Newport County AFC can confirm that they have reached an agreement with Danny Crow to allow the striker to leave the club in order to find First Team Football and to progress his ambitions of going into coaching.Danny was a key member of the team that led Newport County AFC into the Football League and has been with the Club since the start of the 2012/13 season. We would like to place on record our thanks for Danny not only on the field, but his work off the field, assisting with The Academy and the Under 16s.
Danny commented on the news "I would like to thank everyone associated with Newport County AFC for a great two and a half years at this great club."
"When I joined Newport I always believed this Club was going places, one of my biggest achievements of my career was getting promoted and I am proud to have played my part in a successful season. Although personally I didn't achieve anywhere near what I wanted, as a team I achieved my ambitions of getting Newport County into the league."
"Firstly I would like to thank my Manager and coaching staff for all their support and help during my time here, I have had a great relationship with them all and I wishy them all the success in their futures."

While Manager Justin Edinburgh commented "Danny has been a great servant to this football club, he has played a big part in some big games, including the playoff games against Grimsby, the Playoff final that got us to the Football League and not forgetting the two goals away to Brighton in the cup and I would like to thank him for his commitment to the club."
"He played a key role in our promotion season and every time he played for this football club he gave 100%, unfortunately injury struck for Danny at the wrong time but his professionalism and commitment to get back is something that should be admired."
