Dr Kartik Hariharan joins County
Dr Kartik Hariharan has joined Newport County AFC as a non-executive Director with immediate effect.Mr Kartik Hariharan or Hari as he is known to friends, colleagues and patients is an internationally known Orthopaedic, Foot and Ankle surgeon who has been a Consultant at the Royal Gwent Hospital for 19 years. Being on of the senior foot and ankle surgeons in the country he has been involved as the Honorary Doctor for the club for five years. Mr Hariharan was the holder of the prestigious post of President of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and has been involved in the treatment of sports injuries for a variety of institutions including the Newport Gwent Dragons, Newport and Gwent Cricket and a host of Athletic and sports organisations, including Newport County AFC. He has been responsible for many professionals in a host of sports returning to professional sports activity following successful treatment of many challenging and serious injuries.
