BIG WALK UP EXPECTED FOR BLACKBURN

Important ticket information regarding our Emirates FA Cup tie against Blackburn Rovers...

With just over a week to go until The Emirates FA Cup Third Round Tie against Blackburn Rovers at Rodney Parade, the Club can confirm we’re expecting a large walk up of on the day sales.

The club has received valuable feedback from a number of fans in relation to the “unprecedented” but nevertheless most welcomed flurry of fans looking to purchase tickets shortly before kick-off at our home game against Plymouth Argyle on Bank Holiday Monday, the ticket office had double the usual walk up with 1,200 fans purchasing tickets on the day.

The club is grateful to those that have taken the time and trouble to provide constructive comments and wanted to assure supporters that we will consider these in our quest to improve the fan experience.

With this in mind we’re asking supporters to buy as early as possible for the tie against Blackburn Rovers and we have outlined below how to purchase tickets ahead of the game:

- Book tickets online and print at home

- Book tickets online for collection or delivery

- Purchase in person at the Ticket Office between 10am – 3pm on weekdays, 7pm the day before a game and 1 hour post-match for all home games.

- Purchase in person at the Ticket Office from 10am on match days.

with collections available up until midnight the day before a game and print at home tickets available until three hours before kick-off on match days.www.newportcountytickets.co.ukOnline tickets are available from

The flurry occurred in the last half an hour prior to the Plymouth game and we would urge fans to buy in advance to avoid the queues.

All the above will help avoid fans missing the start of this key game.

In addition the club has recently invested in an app which will enable supporters to buy on their phone and have it scanned at the turnstile. This is due to be implemented in March 2016.

Whilst it is appreciated the above is little consolation for those who had to queue we hope that comfort is taken in the fact that we are listening and keen to work with supporters to improve the experience.

We are confident working together this can be achieved.

To ensure supporters are able to enjoy the best experience we respectfully suggest purchasing tickets in advance.

Many thanks for the continued support.
