County sign Zak Ansah on loan from Charlton Athletic.
Born in Greater London, Zak was a trainee at Arsenal, before joining Charlton in June 2014.Zak had a brief loan spell at Plymouth Argyle last season, in which he scored on his debut in a 3-0 victory over Cheltenham Town. During his loan spell at Home Park Zak also scored in Plymouth's play-off semi-final tie against Wycombe.
At international level Zak has represented England at both under-16 and under-17 level.
Zak's arrival at Rodney Parade comes twenty-four hours after the arrival of Josh Laurent from Brentford, as manager Terry Butcher looks to strengthen his squad in time for the visit of Leyton Orient this Saturday.
The loan deal will last for twenty-eight days and during his time with Newport County AFC Zak will wear the number nine shirt.
