We'd like to thank everyone who attended last night's 100 Club open evening.
The evening was hosted by Steve Rose and Newport County AFC Commercial Manager James Watts with around 20-30 in attendance including current 100 club members and former players.
As well as showcasing what is on offer for members of the 100 Club on a matchday, the meeting also discussed options of the three payment plans.
1) £525 cash before July 31st,
2) 4 payments before July 31st
3) 12 months finance option with interest (no interest for current members)
Further discussions about how to improve the 100 Club included the potential for games to be shown in bar with the blinds closed, more former players being guests in the 100 club, and the possibility for members to include a pre-match meal in the Bisley Suite for an additional fee of £15 per person.
Questions were also raised about potentially changing the name of the club or bar.
There will also be more effort made into making the bar more Newport County AFC orientated on matchdays with the addition of banners and photo's.
Commercial Manager James Watts said "it was great to see some familiar faces and also a few new ones. We had a good discussion about how everyone can work together to keep on improving the 100 Club, and since the meeting we're received some really positive comments and a few additional sign ups.
