Jimmy Dack says he is delighted for Newport County youngster Aaron Collins following his call up for Wales U19s
"Aaron is another one who has come through the youth system" says Dack, "the staff there are doing a fantastic job, I've got to give credit to the guys at the youth, they've produced some good boys for us this year, and we'll be better for it."We'll take a few of them on next year, we'll take them on, nurture them along and it will be great for the club to get local boys in the squad.
Dack feels that Newport can attract quality players because there is a clear route through to first team football. "As a youngster wanting to be a footballer, why wouldn't you want to come to Newport County? You can see there is a path through, if you're good enough there is a path to the first team.
"It's a bit harder to break into first team football if you're at Swansea or Cardiff, but here you can see there is a route through for the young lads if they're willing to work hard."
