Coventry City head to Rodney Parade for Pre-Season Friendly
Newport County AFC will face Coventry City FC at home in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 29th July 2014 with a 7:30pm kick off.This will be a fine test for Justin Edinburgh's men and will conclude a busy period at Rodney Parade with FC Carl Zeiss Jena coming to the County the previous Saturday.
Coventry City have a fine tradition including winning the FA Cup in 1987 in one of the most romantic of recent cup finals with a 3-2 win against Tottenham Hotspur.
Goalkeeper that day Steve Ogrizovic is now on the coaching staff and Sky Blues Manager Steven Pressley is sure to bring a strong squad to Newport.
