Notice for those visiting Rodney Parade
Our local police force has issued the following information to fans.During match events we have had visitors/supporters leaving items on display in their vehicles. Unfortunately for some this has resulted in their vehicles being broken into. Sat-navs and mobile phones are the commonest items left in vehicles, for example, we recently found a vehicle belonging to a supporter with two mobiles and a laptop clearly on view.
We have been conducting regular patrols of the area and especially during match games, with messages put out via OWL, twitter and Facebook plus an article in the local newspaper.
We are asking spectators to ensure items of value are locked away in their vehicles and their vehicles are secure.
