Kevin Moore

Kevin Moore is widely regarded as the finest winger in our history.

He joined us in 1977 from Swansea and made an immediate impact.
His contribution in our 1979/80 ‘Season of Triumph’ was a key factor in our historic successes, with a great emphasis in Len Ashurst’s tactics placed on his ability to supply a significant number of our goals.

The following Season, Kevin was also a prominent threat to opposition, scoring two and making others, in our historic European Cup Winners’ Cup run to the Quarter- Finals.

Kevin scored 20 in 182 appearances before leaving in 1983.

Greatly remembered by all who saw and played alongside him, Kevin was inducted to the Hall of Fame on 18th September, 2009.
