Despite difficult financial times for Newport County in recent years, the club is fully aware that the current cost of living crisis is hitting supporters just as hard.
Therefore, and taking into account last season’s price increase, the club has opted to freeze all adult, senior and young person (16-21) season ticket prices next season in conjunction with Supporters Trust consultation.
The club has slightly recalculated the age categories in a bid to streamline operational functions in the ticket office, including the removal of the separate under-12 and automatic free under-6 categories. The latter is due to the low matchday attendance of those utilising the free under-6 season tickets, which takes matchday seats out of operation.
However, those who regularly attend with a child under-6 should contact the ticket office and we will endeavour to accommodate your request at the free price.

There will be no season tickets available for the North Terrace. Due to rising matchday staging costs, the North Terrace will not be open next season except where demand dictates. The disabled platform will operate as normal.
The club would also like to give supporters 12-months’ notice that we will be increasing the senior age category from 60 to 65 for season 2025-26 to bring it in line with the majority of clubs throughout the EFL.
Those reaching the 60-year-old age category for next season will not be affected by the age increase. Those already qualifying for a senior ticket will remain on the senior rate when the new age category comes into operation for any ‘renewals’, even if they are aged under 65.
For example, a supporter currently aged 61+ will remain on the senior rate even when the age increase comes into place as long as they are renewing. Any break in season ticket membership will mean new applications will be at the new 65+ senior rate. Details of matchday ticket prices will follow during the close season.
Season tickets will go on sale from Wednesday, May 1, both online and in person at the ticket office.
There will also be a direct debit facility where supporters can spread the cost of their season ticket across May, June and July with three equal payments. Deadline for spreading the cost is May 20. After this date, full payment upfront will be required.
Payments will be split into three equal instalments, with the following dates:
- 1st Payment: May 31
- 2nd Payment: June 28
- 3rd and Final Payment: July 31
Important Note: Direct Debit payments will appear under the account name 'WRU Gwent Rugby Limited' due to our joint ticketing system with Dragons RFC. If you have any questions regarding Direct Debit setup, please don't hesitate to contact the Ticket Office via in person or email.
Supporters can take advantage of our ‘Early Bird’ discounts which will expire on Friday, May 31. Early Bird adult season tickets will be priced at just £385; seniors at £299; young adults at £158 and under-16s from just £60 (at £2.60 per game).
Current season ticket holders have until Friday, May 31, to secure their existing seat before being released for general sale.
The club would urge supporters to utilise the online facility to renew and purchase. The club will be moving towards a digital-first policy next season with the implementation of a new club website and mobile app that includes a single sign-on functionality that will link all fans’ ticketing and retail accounts together for ease of purchase.
All ticketing queries should be emailed to ticket.office@newport-county.co.uk with further updates to follow.
With the freeze in season ticket prices, it is imperative the club increases its commercial revenue to partly compensate. Our new commercial brochure is available at commercial@newport-county.co.uk.
The club would like to thank all supporters for their continued support and look forward to a bright future together.
